COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLICATIONS Committee
The Communications & Publications Committee (CAP) is dedicated to bringing the voice and works of the organization to the members of ESTA and to the entertainment industry at large. It is our goal to keep members informed of the amazing advancements being made in Technical Standards, Certification, and Technical Education, as well as keeping members informed of member benefits and the day to day services ESTA has to offer. We are an energetic group always in search of new members. If you are interested in becoming involved in CAP or the Protocol Task Group, please contact chairs Dinna Myers or Andrew Nikel.

Vision:
CAP strives to facilitate the effective exchange of association related information to ESTA members and outside interests.

Mission:
CAP's mission is to accomplish the vision by providing direction and energy for the association's publications, printed promotional material, press releases, ESTA branded materials and the ESTA website.

Charge:
The CAP Committee is charged to:

• Provide support for ESTA's trade publication, Protocol, by maintaining a Task Group dedicated to assisting the editor and representing the membership's interest in the publication.
• Provide support for the ESTA Membership Directory
• Provide support for the ESTA Members only newsletter, ESTA Essentials
• Provide support for the Technical Standards Program publication, Standards Watch
• Provide resources and support for the ESTA Website
• Create and distribute products for Shop ESTA

What We Expect of Volunteers:

• To actively participate in one or more task groups
• Make time available for monthly phone calls and other follow-up
• To provide creative ideas and assist in their implementation
• Availability to meet at USITT and ETS-LDI
• A time commitment of approximately 1 hour per week
• Access to email
